Dottie's World Blog Candy

Daring Card Makers Challenge

On DCM, this week's dare was set by Jozza and as its Fireworks week here in the UK she has gone all sparkly - so the brief was lots of bling!! They are sponsored this week by Louise Brigden (the designer of Dottie and George plus a whole host of other fabulous images) and Charmed cards and Crafts (the shop who sell the downloadable images). As it is a sponsored dare this week, they will choose a random winner who will win 2 download collections of their choice or the Dottie and George Christmas download. In addition to this fabulous prize, Karen who owns Charmed Cards and Crafts is going to put together a little something extra from her shop making it 2 prizes up for offer this week so it is going to be well worth taking them up on the dare to be in with a chance to win!

Here is my card. I have used one of the Dottie and George Rock Till You Drop Downloads and have coloured it in using Prisma Pencils. Dottie's skirt has been glittered and I have also added gems. The backing card is just plain holographic card and mirri board with extra large gems added.

QuicKutz Challenge 2 - Christmas

I have made a Christmas Spring Card. I have used card from my own stash. The background card has been cuttlebugged and peeloffs added. I have used the Santas Sleigh and the Reindeer QuicKutz dies for the top "spring" part and using holly and berries die, added them to the bottom corners.
