Dotties World Sunday Challenge - Father's Day

Louise set the challenge this week and we had to create a Father's Day Card. Of course we had to use one of the Charmed Downloads.

Here is my challenge card:

As I had to make a Father's Day card anyway, I thought this challenge shouldn't be too hard.

Die Cut Dreams Challenge #1 - Green Fingers

Over on the Die Cut Dreams Challenge Blog, they have set their first Challenge - GREEN FINGERS. So you have to design a card or any other paper craft project with the theme, i.e. anything to do with gardening, flowers, plants etc.

Well I have this card already made up and it fits the bill exactly. This weeks prize is a lovely set of garden stamps it was supplied by Vikki.

For the image I chose Holly in the Garden from the many great downloads available from Charmed Cards & Crafts. She has been coloured in using prisma pencils in a lovely shade of violet to match the papers. I also used my cuttlebug to cut out two hearts from shimmer paper. For the fancy edge, I used daisy braid and coloured in the centres with a felt pen. The large daisies are Just Pots. The sentiment was computer generated. For the papers I have used downloads from Pink Petticoat.

Dotties World Sunday Challenge - 'Buttons or Beads'!

Adele set the challenge this week...
"I have tons of them but rarely use them ! Dig deep into your crafty stash and embellish away. It doesn't matter how you use them, as long as they are visible on your creation. If you haven't got any (!!!!) improvise! Only other "rule" is that a Charmed Download must be used"
Well I got up really early this morning to take the dog for his walk and then sat down to make my card. I had fun choosing different buttons to use.

Recipe:
Downloads: Darts George and Sentiment Circle, both from Charmed Cards and Crafts
Paper: Dovecraft Masculine
Tools: Nestabilities
Buttons from stash

Dotties World Sunday Challenge - 'Charmed'

Juliet set the challenge this week... "Charmed - this week's challenge is to add a charm to your project. It can be anything as long as it dangles (oops sorry, does that sound too rude?) and, of course, include one of the Charmed downloads too!"

So here is my effort

As you can see, I have made a waterfall card. I chose the lovely Holly & Madison downloads . I raided my daughter's pen box and coloured them in with felt pens. I used card from my stash which I purchase from our local papermill shop. I used a prima flower from my stash. Unfortunately I did not have any charms, but luckily found an old pair of my daughter's trousers and found the heart dangling on the waistband, so I pinched it for the card! Well I do like to recycle!

Dottie's World Sunday Challenge - Christmas

Yes - you read it right! It was Karen's turn to set the challenge this week on Dottie's World. We have to make something christmassy and also add one of the downloads. On offer too is a fantastic prize to the lucky winner.

Well I suppose its never too early to start on your christmas cards! We usually give the nephews and nieces money wallets at christmas so that they can buy whatever they want. So I made a start. To make the money wallet, I folded a piece of A4 into three, which gives you the right size of pocket for a £20 note or smaller. I used this great image from the Rock 'N Roll downloads which I know Greg will love as he is a budding guitar player. It has been coloured in using prisma pencils. For the backing paper I used paper from Dovecraft. The sentiment was created on the computer.
