QuicKutz Challenge 2 - Christmas

Challenge 2 from the Quickutz Challenge Blog, sponsored by Crafts U Love has been extended for another month. The draw will be done on 25th November.

The challenge... Now that the new Christmas releases are out we thought that Christmas would be a good challenge this month. So we look forward to seeing all your Christmassy creations. Good Luck!

This months challenge prize is an England Die Set worth £24.99. So lets see all your Christmas Creations. The Winner will be announced on the 25th October, so what are you waiting for.

As this is a new Challenge Blog we are still building it up and so we are extending Challenge 2 for another month. The draw will be done on 25th November.

And, here is my attempt.

I have made a Christmas Spring Card. I have used card from my own stash. The background card has been cuttlebugged and peeloffs added. I have used the Santas Sleigh and the Reindeer QuicKutz dies for the top "spring" part and using holly and berries die, added them to the bottom corners.

Dottie's World - Challenge

This week's challenge on Dottie's World was to create something which was to include one or more of the Charmed Download images and to be only 3 main colours. Black, white and one colour of your choice. You can use as many tones of grey and of your chosen colour and you can obviously use a skintone and haircolour but that's it.

I used Chef George and as you can see the other colour of my choice was red. The image was coloured in using Prisma pencils and my own background paper. The cards behind the image were cuttlebugged using the Swiss Dots folder and ribbons and sentiment added to finish off.

My First Challenge

Go along to Dottie's World and you will see the challenge for this week.
The challenge was to make something but not a card so Louise wrote:

"It's my week this week and I fancied a change so here's the challenge;Make something using a Charmed download but IT CAN'T BE A CARD!"

Well I have never done a challenge before so this is a first for me. So I thought I would start off with something easy.

Its a coaster which I have had lying about for ages and did not know what to do with. The picture is one of the Sporting Georges which I have coloured in using prisma pencils.
